why

Although the computer is good at getting colors close, it will never match all of the colors in your painting without some time consuming work in Photoshop. Peter Mounier (pronounced Moon-YAE) has been printing color images since 1975, and has developed an eye for color that is essential for the critical job of color matching.

Others will charge you for color balancing in Photoshop by the 1/4 hour (to the tune of about $60.00 per hour). The problem with paying $60.00+ per hour is, you never know how much it's going to cost until it's done! Mounier Giclee charges a flat rate. When you bring your artwork to me, you can be sure you will get the best quality possible, rather than hoping for good quality at a reasonable cost.

Consider this... it is not unusual for color matching to take several hours. If you're paying a typical price of $15.00 per 1/4 hour, it could end up costing you $120.00 or more to reach the point that you're satisfied with the results. If you're working with a printer of limited experience, it'll take longer to get the colors right, and you'll end up paying more because of that inexperience. That doesn't make any sense at all. You may end up compromising on the quality in order to keep your costs reasonable.

I guarantee that you'll be happy with the prints I produce for you, no matter how long it takes to get there. And at a price you can afford!
